Racheal Wiegand- Founder/Playgroup Facilitator

Racheal Wiegand has 13 years in education, including 12 as a preschool intervention specialist. She holds degrees from Ashland University with a specialization in Autism Spectrum Disorders from BGSU and is licensed in general education, special education, and reading intervention. Her vision for Together in Play grew from her classroom experience, parenting, and community connections, creating a space where caregivers and children can learn and grow together. Married for 19 years with three children, Racheal enjoys camping, biking, fitness, walking her dogs, and cheering on her kids.

Gabbi Passerrello- College Intern

Gabbi supports Together in Play behind the scenes with scheduling and setup, and in-person during playgroups and events. A 2023 Midview graduate, she is now a junior at Ohio University majoring in Special Education and minoring in Coaching. With classroom and coaching experience, Gabbi is excited to continue to learn and grow alongside the TiP team.

Kyree Cotrell- Event Host Coordinator

Kyree is an elementary music and visual art teacher with over 10 years of experience in Lorain, Ohio. She holds degrees in Music and Music Education from Ohio Northern and Morehead State, and a Master’s in Music Theory from Kent State. Specializing in early music exploration and visual art, she fosters creativity and confidence through sound, rhythm, and artistic expression. Along with her husband, Kyree also runs a private studio in Grafton, offering music and art lessons to students ages 5 and up.

Marcia Filmer- Event Host Coordinator

Marcia has been a licensed speech and language pathologist for the last 22 years. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from The Ohio State University and her master’s degree from the University of Akron. Her expertise is in the areas of early childhood, autism and augmentative communication. Marcia is passionate about empowering children to be communicators, no matter their ability level. Language is the foundation of a child’s world-if we nurture it early, we give them the power to understand, connect, and succeed.

Christina Keller- Event Host Coordinator

Tina is an occupational therapist with over 20 years of pediatric experience, focusing on preschoolers and children with autism. She holds a bachelor’s from Ohio State and a master’s in Health Sciences with a specialty in School-Based OT from Cleveland State. Tina lives with her husband and two teenage sons, and enjoys crafting, quilting, and nature walks—often bringing her love of crafting into her sessions.

Whitney Moore- Event Host Coordinator

Whitney has been an elementary school teacher for 8 years. She has worked with students of all ages. She graduated from Ashland University with her Bachelor’s degree and BGSU with her 4th-5th grade generalist endorsement. Over the years, she’s had the privilege of guiding students through hands-on learning, fostering both technical skills and personal confidence. Whether in the classroom or through professional workshops, her goal has always been to create a supportive, engaging environment where learners feel seen, heard, and equipped for success. Whitney is very excited to be working with Together in Play!

Ember Palmer- Event Host Coordinator

November (“Ember”) Palmer is an Event Host Coordinator at Together in Play, leading Yin Yoga & Meditation for caregivers and My Grown-up and Me Yoga for preschoolers and caregivers. A Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher, Certified Yoga Nidra Guide, Life Coach, and Licensed Social Worker with 13 years of practice, she is passionate about helping others release stress, heal, and grow in confidence and connection.
